Educational Panels
Educational panels are the key component schools need for their playgrounds
With wall target games, magnetic panels and xylophones and glockenspiels, you can really transform the look and atmosphere of your school with high quality playground equipment for schools. Our fitness trails keep the children entertained at all times
Children can get bored easily when there is nothing to do and that’s when behaviour can become poor. With our range of fitness trails, there simply isn’t time to get bored and be mischievous. Depending on the available space, we have playground equipment for schools to suit any area. From our over and under hurdles, parallel bars, chin up bars and balance beams, all children will find them fun no matter what the weather.
The pinnacle of our fitness trails are the fitness challenge routes
Whether they use them at break times or lunch times, or during PE, they will not only get fitter but they will work as a team helping one another, as well as challenge each other to races. This level of competitiveness helps develop their hand-eye coordination and the speed at which the make decisions. This decisiveness is very helpful as they grow up and it’s astonishing how so many areas of development that our fitness trails can help with.
We have three to choose from ranging from 29m to 37m in length. They include start and finish posts, crawl tubes, giant tyre steps, over under hurdles and ladder bars, before finishing it off with the very tricky balance bar. As far as the fitness challenges go, these help the children get very fit and builds strength and speed quickly. They can be used everyday at break times and lunch times, and for sports days too. They are exceptional at producing fitness results in a short period of time, and this can have a beneficial effect on children’s grades too as they will have more energy from keeping their brains and bodies active.

Keep your kids injury free with our safety surfaces
We have perforated rubber grass mats which are reinforced with mesh to give a bounce and a spring to foot, which gives some deflection if a child falls. Compared to falling onto concrete, this is ideal as it absorbs the shock and vastly reduces the amount of injuries on the playground. With our depth of experience in the commercial playground equipment industry, we know what works and what exactly you need to be used with our adventure playgrounds and outdoor play areas.
A safety surface is important to us to ensure protection
As we want to make you feel confident about your pupils’ safety, we have a good range of surfaces that are weather resistant and if you choose artificial grass, you can reproduce the look and feel of grass but with added shock pads to stop injuries after fall. Depending on which of our wooden playground equipment that is being used, such as chin up bars or overhead ladder bars, will dictate what safety surface to use. For some schools, perforated rubber grass mats are ideal, whereas an open parkland with low height activities might benefits synthetic all weather surfacing.
As soon as children enter the school they are the responsibility of the school and that means you need to do everything within your power to protect them. As children are always learning about new and exciting things, and have wild imaginations, they can often fall or slip during play times, and that’s where minimising the risk of injury is required. Using a softer, spongier or shock absorbing pads on the floor outside is one way of making sure that if and when children trip or fall from the outdoor play areas that the safety surface will do as much as possible in making sure the child does not hurt themselves.

We have a good range of brightly coloured wet pour all weather surfaces which are available as patterns, different colours or plain black. Our artificial grass can be multi-toned so it looks like the real thing, but it can have added shock pads underneath to give that soft feel. These are ideal for high bars and climbing apparatus where children will think they’re invincible but a fall is usually inevitable.
As we deal with a myriad of wooden sculptures and wooden playground equipment, you can add our outdoor synthetic carpet, which comes in a range of shapes, colours and patterns to suit the overall theme of your outdoor space and the age groups of the children that are going to use it. Trim Trails
Trim trails are the ideal piece of children’s outdoor equipment
That helps them have fun at playtime, increase their hand-eye coordination and stay fit too. The trim trails can be configured in a myriad of different ways to help with smaller or oddly-shaped playgrounds, and can be adjusted and tweaked so they offer different routes and trim trails.
The idea of trim trails
is that they have a series of tasks or pieces of equipment to climb over, under and through, step on, walk around and swing from start to finish. They might include such parts as a swinging log step, overhead ladder, a burma bridge and a wibbly wobbly pole. The step logs are actually used in Japan and China to increase the balance, spatial awareness and control over their bodies and are popular with martial artists. The overhead bars, or ‘monkey bars’, are a great way to increase strength and coordination, as well as giving the trim trail an added feature.
All of those efforts combined increase the awareness and skill of the child in determining the best route through complex and complicated apparatus. The trim trails can be curved around in a semi-circle or used where there are odd-shaped gardens and playgrounds. They should be placed on safety surfaces or grass, as the aspects of the trim trails can be tricky to master, so it’s important to keep them safe from injury.
Trim Trails
Trim trails range from anywhere between
15-50 metres in length and can offer a great time for breaks and physical education. Children will no doubt love to play on them and running the course completely without touching the floor is something that they will challenge each other with and see which one can reach the end in the fastest time. Made from sturdy wooden poles and beams, they not only look great but they are durable, affordable and require almost no maintenance. They will outlast many years of abuse from kids of all ages, too.
For older children, there is the option of traverse walls, swinging beams and zig-zag balance beams, to really test their ability of coordination and skill. No matter what size space is on offer, there will be a good configuration of trim trail that can be used, which will give the kids something to do and something to talk about. Encouraging physical activity from a young age will help them grow into strong, supple and energetic adults, so it’s good for their development of not only the minds but their bodies also.
