A special needs school created a ‘tent shaped’ sunshade area using a central pole and four 3.6 metre ready made triangle sails in desert sand and ocean blue colours.

This hyperbolic ocean blue square design utilises a 5.4 metre square sail and four posts in two different heights, to offer an unusual and eye catching canopy at a nursery day centre.

These 3 no. 5 metre ocean blue triangle shades provide protection against the sun whilst the children enjoy playing with the schools playground equipment.

This tautness helps maintain the shade sail’s shape and ultimately that means it does its job consistently. For schools and nurseries, protecting the children’s skin from harmful UV rays is one aspect of taking care of them that you need to take very seriously. The sun can be very damaging to young skin and that’s why a protective canopy is ideal to allow them to still play out in the sun but without being in direct sunlight.
