This garden renovation was completed for a customer in Great Houghton, Barnsley. The aim was to refresh the space and reduce ongoing maintenance while keeping a clean, modern appearance.

The original garden included a small corner summer house, standard paving flags and a natural lawn. The layout worked well, but the customer wanted a smarter finish and a lower-maintenance solution for everyday use.

We started by removing the existing summer house. This allowed us to extend the garden slightly and open up the layout. We then broke out the old paving flags and removed them from site. After this, we lifted the existing lawn and prepared the area for new finishes.

Once the groundwork was complete, we installed Kandla Grey Indian stone paving to create a modern patio area. We replaced the natural lawn like-for-like with our 40mm Cherry artificial grass. This option gives a neat, realistic finish and keeps maintenance to an absolute minimum. It is a popular choice for homeowners looking for artificial grass in Barnsley.

To complete the space, we installed an Autumn Gold decorative aggregate border around the edges. This helped define each area and added contrast to the overall design.

We removed all waste from site and disposed of it responsibly. The garden was left clean, tidy and ready to use.

The finished space offers a fresh look with very little upkeep. The combination of Kandla Grey paving, artificial grass and warm-toned aggregate borders creates a practical and well-balanced garden.
